We are thankful for a great eye report!

We saw Dr. Norman, Char's pediatric opthalmologist, on Monday. Her eye looks "fantastic" and her farsightedness has improved 1 unit. He was really positive about her progress!

She is now ready for a bifocal lens for her glasses (bad eye only; good eye will continue to just have clear glass in her glasses). I asked Dr. N how we can help her learn to use the bifocal & he said she would just figure it out. It's amazing to me what kids can learn on their own!

We will continue our same routine of patching 4 hours a day. Wilson and I are really encouraged that the patching is working! Her strabismus (eye turning in) is much improved thanks to the patching!
