Christmas 2010

We enjoyed a beautiful Christmas! Grammy and Pop Pop came to visit, and Charlotte was super-spoiled. She had constant playmates for days! We ventured to our church's Family Christmas Eve Service. Charlotte did really well considering it was dinnertime and I absent-mindedly forgot to take snacks. During communion, she got weary and started saying "Home, Home". We all cracked up laughing, as did those around us.

Charlotte's big Christmas present was her kitchen. Wilson and I scoured the internet to find the perfect kitchen for her, and Grammy and Pop Pop bought her tons of accessories -- food, cooking utensils, and a chef's apron and hat.

Aunt Carol & Great Grandpa sent Charlotte a fancy potty chair -- complete with toilet paper and a book bin attached. They also sent an Elmo Learns to Potty book with sound effects. Big surprise that the toilet flushing sound is Char's favorite. :) We plan to start potty training when Charlotte gets closer to 2.

GG sent a bathroom stool which Charlotte refers to as "GG stool" as well as a napmat for school. Many of the other kids in her class have one, so she instantly knew what to do!

Grandma and Grandpa Woods sent Charlotte a cool cube toy for working on her fine motor skills along with a ton of Biblically themed books. This girl loves books! Her favorite Bible stories are David & Goliath and Zaccheus -- but you have to sing the Zaccheus song and shake your finger.

Uncle Clinton sent Charlotte a stuffed camel from Bahrain. We didn't get a picture because Major absconded with the camel!
Uncle Brian and Aunt Brandi sent a sweet fairy house that has precious sound effects. And it folds for convenient storage--much appreciated!
We had a great Christmas & look forward to all that 2011 holds!
