Fort Worth was blanketed with ice last Monday evening and we stayed below freezing for 80 hours! Schools were closed Tuesday - Friday, so Charlotte and I hunkered down. Both of us did great. We relaxed, read, watched lots of Dora the Explorer, and enjoyed a week off!
We got about 5 inches of snow on Thursday night. Wilson stayed home with us on Friday to avoid ice AND snow covered roads. We had a great day, complete with hot chocolate! Major loved the snow. Charlotte tolerated it for about 5 minutes, then proceeded to get upset for 45 minutes. At least we got a picture of her smiling!
My kiddos are not cold-weather people either!
