It's busy, busy, busy in the Woods household. In the last month, Charlotte has:
* Attended the Byron Nelson & Colonial golf tournaments. A caddie at the Byron Nelson even helped Wilson lug the stroller over an incline. Thanks caddie to Robert Garrigus!!! She was really good for both tourneys. She napped in the stroller most of the time. At Byron, we walked several holes and then parked on 16. A ball landed 3 feet from us and the player hit right there, but she slept through it. Then we mosied to watch a tee shot. By this time, she was awake and started her "hiiiiii, heeeeyyy" routine. Wilson quickly moved the stroller from the tee box to try to keep us from being escorted out! Wilson says he and Charlotte will take golf lessons together some day.
* Started Little Gym. She loves it! We're in the "Birds" class for 10-19 month olds. Little Gym encourages lots of hands-on exploration, and she has really enjoyed the classes so far! Mom is thankful that Little Gym is air-conditioned, as we are in for a HOT summer.
* Helped host the 4th Annual Harris, Finley, & Bogle poker tournament. Wilson loves hosting a poker tournament for his firm during clerk season. Charlotte welcomed everyone and even threw some chicken nuggets on the floor to entertain the crowd. Major was banished to the side yard and proceeded to claw a HOLE in our back door! That dog is "Major Trouble". We had probably 25 attendees, so lots of cars on our quiet new street. We suspect our not-so-friendly next door neighbor called the police to complain about the cars, because one of the associates ended up with a ticket for parking on the wrong side of the street. We have never seen a police officer on our street before. Coincidence? I think not!
* Wilson bought Charlotte a pink princess baby pool. I'm sure it will get plenty of attention this summer!
